Highlights: Reading High withstood a late rally to beat Gov. Mifflin 51-44 tonight in the Berks Conference Division I finale for both at Shillington.

The Red Knights (7-3, 15-6) clinched second place in Berks I and will head into next week's league playoffs as the No. 4 seed.

The Mustangs (6-4, 13-9) will enter as the No. 6 or 5 seed, to be determined later in the week by power rating. They are battling Muhlenberg for the fifth seed.

Mifflin used a 12-0 run that started late in the third quarter and pulled within 37-35 on Justin Spotts' three-point play with 5:38 left, but got no closer.

Daniel Alcantara's three-point play extended Reading's lead to 47-39 with 3:08 left.

Bryce Harman scored a game-high 23 points for Mifflin,17 in the second half.

Moro Osumanu had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Reading.

The Red Knights led 10-0 after the first four minutes, as the Mustangs missed three shots inside and turned it over twice on their first five possessions.
