Highlights: Choco Brea scored a career-high 24 points as Reading High overcame a sluggish third quarter to beat McCaskey 80-60 in a non-league game at Geigle Complex.

The Red Knights (3-0) saw a nine-point halftime lead slip away in the third quarter, when they fell behind by as many as four points.

Denim Adams gave them the lead for good at 48-47 with a pair of free throws in the final minute of the third quarter.

Reading outscored McCaskey 31-13 in the final quarter.

Moro Osumanu had 14 points and 14 rebounds off the bench for Reading.

Elijah Terry scored a game-high 32 for the Red Tornando (0-2), hitting four 3-pointers in the second half.
