Highlights: Tuesday at Fleetwood, Julia Kaskey scored a career-high 20 points and Alexis Hess had 18 to lead eighth-seeded Fleetwood to the win over ninth-seeded Kennard-Dale in the first round of the District 3 Class 4A playoffs.

The Tigers (14-9) took control in the second quarter, outscoring the Rams 14-3 to take a 26-14 halftime lead.

Fleetwood will play at top-seeded Lancaster Catholic (22-3) Friday in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. The Crusaders had a first-round bye.

Jaedyn McKeon scored 19 points to lead Kennard-Dale (12-11), which reached the district semifinals and won a state game last season.
