Highlights: Tuesday at York Springs, Fleetwood's season ended with a loss to Bermudian Springs in the District 3 Class 4A consolation semifinals.

The eighth-seeded Tigers (14-11) needed to beat the fifth-seeded Eagles (19-6), then win Thursday's fifth-place game to advance to the PIAA Tournament.

Fleetwood trailed 48-34 with 5:49 left, but got within 48-43 with 4:07 left. The Tigers still were within 54-48 coming out of a timeout with the ball with 40 seconds left.

Alexis Hess led the Tigers with 19 points.

Bailey Oehmig scored 21 to lead the Eagles, who will host Wyomissing at 7 p.m. Thursday in the fifth-place game. The sixth-seeded Spartans beat seventh-seeded Bishop McDevitt 56-50 Tuesday.
