Highlights: Thursday at Wolf Gymnasium, Ryan Koch scored eight of his career-high 23 points in the final quarter as the Saints (5-8) used a late run to beat the Firebirds (7-3) in a non-league game.

The Saints ended the game on an 11-0 run to snap a five-game losing streak. They trailed 45-41 with 4:07 left.

Koch made both ends of a one-and-one with 45 seconds left to boost the Saints' lead to 49-45. Overall, they made

9-of-14 free throws in the final quarter.

The game matched two of the state's all-time winningest coaches, Tony Chapman of Holy Ghost and Snip Esterly of Berks Catholic. They have combined for 1,641 victories.

Koch hit five 3's, four in the first half.

Shane Reilly hit five 3's for the Firebirds and finished with 20 points.
