Highlights: At Middletown, the Trojans (10-13) trailed by just two points after one period but fell behind quickly after struggling offensively in the middle two quarters during a District 3 3A first-round loss to the Blue Raiders (11-12).

Cassondra Mellen and Allyson Yoder each had six points to lead Tulpehocken, which was outscored a combined 27-5 during the second and third periods.

Bianca Jasper scored a game-high 20 points and Kate Fitzpatrick scored 10 of her 19 in the third quarter for Middletown, which advances to take on No. 2 Delone Catholic Friday at 6:30 p.m.
