Highlights
At Kutztown, Dustin Smith's two-run shot in the bottom of the fourth was the difference as the Cougars (5-2, 8-5) edged the Lynx (6-1, 12-3). Winning pitcher Andrew Gernert struck out 10 and walked one, while Oley Valley's Nick Distasio struck out six and walked two. Distasio walked Kutztown's leadoff batter in the fourth, and Smith followed with the home run. Kutztown's victory cut Oley's Berks III lead to one game over the Cougars and Tulpehocken.
