At Kutztown, Andrew Gernert went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored as the Cougars (3-2, 6-4) beat the Mounts (0-5, 3-5). Gernert broke it open by hitting a three-run homer in the third inning. Winning pitcher Dalton Balthaser went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs and Drew Entriken and Nick Austin each singled twice. Balthaser struck out seven and walked one in five-plus innings.
