Highlights: At Kutztown, Melissa Giannotti scored 11 points in a 12-0 run in the third quarter to help the Spartans (8-0 Berks III, 11-4) overcome the Cougars (2-6 Berks IV, 2-11).

Kutztown, which got 11 points from Megan Greiss and 10 from Janelle Geist, led 25-24 at halftime.

But the Spartans scored 23 points in the third quarter and 20 in the fourth to pull away.

Giannotti finished with a game-high 19 points, Cherise Key scored 16 and Keyaundra Williams scored 11 for the Spartans.
