At the Geigle, Meme Burdine scored 17 points and the Red Knights (4-0, 7-6) opened a 13-point lead after three quarters on the way to the win over the Blazers (2-2, 5-7). Burdine had eight of his points in the third quarter. Tyree Gibson had 14 points and Jalan Branford had 13 for Reading High. Steven Sievers hit five 3-pointers and scord 17 points and Pop Lacey and Kenny Worthington each had 10 for Daniel Boone.
