Highlights:
Tyrone Nesby IV and Lonnie Walker IV combined for 17 fourth-quarter points to spark a furious comeback as Reading High defeated Perkiomen Valley in a PIAA Class 6A second-round game at Santander Arena.
The Red Knights (27-3) trailed by seven points early in the final quarter before running off a devastating 16-0 burst to take the Vikings (23-7) out.
Nesby finished with 20 points and Walker with 18.
Justin Jaworski scored a game-high 21 for the Vikings, who finished eighth in the District 1 Tournament before taking out District 12 champ Roman Catholic.
Reading didn’t take the lead for good until Nesby stole a pass and fed to Walker, who slammed it home for a 51-50 lead with 2:51 left.
The Red Knights, the third-place finisher in District 3, advance to the state quarterfinals meet the winner of Friday’s game between Pocono Mountain West and Plymouth-Whitemarsh.
