Highlights: At Kutztown, the Cougars (5-6, 8-12) made four free throws in the final 12 seconds to break a tie and down the Cardinals (5-4, 9-10).

Brett Hauck hit a free throw with 12 seconds left to snap a 53-53 tie. Tim Conrad stole the ball, was fouled and hit two free throws with eight seconds left before Andrew Snyder hit a technical foul shot with one second left.

The loss puts Central Catholic one loss or one Wyomissing win away from missing the Berks Conference playoffs.

Snyder and Conrad scored 16 points each for Kutztown and Hauck finished with 14. Conrad hit four 3-pointers to help the Cougars complete a regular season sweep of the Cardinals.

Central Catholic, which scored just six points in the first quarter, was led by Cameron Furman with 20 points followed by Zack Fenstermacher with 12 and Matt Doyen with 10.
