Highlights:
Wesley Butler scored 26 points and turned in another outstanding defensive job as Reading High topped Muhlenberg in a Berks Conference Division I game before a packed house at Laureldale.
The Red Knights (8-1, 14-5) can clinch the division title by beating Gov. Mifflin Tuesday.
The Muhls (6-3, 14-6) saw their chances for a division title vanish, but they have essentially clinched a wild card berth in the league tournament.
The win was the second for Reading over Muhlenberg this season; it won 69-56 last month.
Reading scored the first five points and never trailed; it built a 10-point lead in the first quarter and was up by 18 at the half.
The Knight led by as many as 26 points in the third quarter and 30 in the fourth quarter.
Juan Mato had 12 points and 14 rebounds and Denim Adams had 14 points and 10 boards for Reading.
Butler held Muhlenberg's leading scorer, Mikai Washington, to three first-half points.
