Highlights: Kutztown fell 59-55 to SLA-Beeber in the opening round of the Class 3A state playoffs.

SLA-Beeber tied the game with 1.8 seconds left in regulation and then wore down Kutztown in overtime. Lucas Floyd, who finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds, fouled out on the first possession of overtime.

Lorencz Jean-Baptiste led all scorers with 33 points and had 10 rebounds. He put Kutztown ahead 51-49 on two foul shots after being fouled in transition after he grabbed a contested rebound.

Asa Brooks had 19 points to lead SLA-Beeber and Jahlil Allen had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Allen had the game-tying layup in regulation.

Kutztown finishes its season at 18-9.
