Highlights: Monday at Elizabethville, John Harrison scored 21 of his game-high 26 points in the first half to lead fifth-seeded Brandywine Heights over fourth-seeded Upper Dauphin in a quarterfinal game of the District 3 Class 3A playoffs Monday.

The Bullets (15-9) clinched a berth in the PIAA playoffs for the first time since 1983 and advanced to play at top-seeded Trinity in the semifinals Thursday at 7 p.m. The Shamrocks beat eighth-seeded Annville-Cleona 72-32.

Harrison helped Brandywine (15-9), which earned its first district win since 2013, take a 30-22 halftime lead. The Bullets extended the lead to 50-35 after three quarters.

Andy Ludwig had 17 points for the Brandywine, 14 in the second half.

Macklin Ayers led the Tri-Valley League champion Trojans (18-7) with 13 points.
