Highlights: At Robesonia, Angel Cruz ran for three first-half TDs and a career-high 246 yards as the Scouts (4-0) built a 28-point halftime lead before hanging on to defeat the Crimson Tide (1-3) in a Berks Football League Section 1 opener.

The Crimson Tide pulled within 28-21 with 3:12 left on Tyler Heffner's third TD sneak, and regained possession once more with 2:30 left. The Tide was forced to turn it over on downs at the Weiser 40 with 1:34 remaining, and the Scouts ran out the clock.

The Scouts piled up 299 first-half yards as Cruz scored on runs of 58, 13 and 6 yards and ran for 193 yards on 15 carries.
