Highlights: At Wyomissing, the Spartans (5-0) battled back from a 14-point first-half deficit, getting a pair of long TD runs by Alex Anzalone and some key defensive stops in the final minutes to hold off the Bears (3-2).

Pleasant Valley quarterback Brandon Leap threw for 294 yards and fired three TD passes, including an 80-yarder in the final minutes after Wyomissing had built a 10-point lead.

Anzalone ran for 187 yards and the Spartans totaled 303 on the ground.
