Highlights:
Tyler Emge ran for a school-record 214 yards and scored three touchdowns and quarterback Zach Koenig picked Schuylkill Valley apart with his accurate passing as the Tigers beat the previously unbeaten Panthers 31-7 in a Berks Football League Section 2 game Saturday night at Tigers Stadium.
The Tigers (2-0, 3-2) are alone in first place in Section 2; Berks Catholic and Wyomissing are each 1-0.
The Tigers scored 31 unanswered points after Tanner White's 47-yard TD pass to Tanner Mish gave the Panthers (1-1, 4-1) a 7-0 lead three minutes into the game.
Koenig completed 17-of-22 passes for 219 yards, setting a school record for completion percentage in a game.
Emge ran 39 times, breaking his school record of 37 carries. He also set the school single-season mark with nine touchdowns.
The Fleetwood defense limited Nick Scheidt to 78 yards on 21 carries -- the first time he's been held under 100 yards this season.
