Highlights: Wilson Fontanez ran for a career-high 124 yards and two touchdowns to front a powerful ground game that carried Gov. Mifflin to a 41-7 victory over previously unbeaten Exeter in a Berks Football League Section 1 game at Mifflin Stadium.

Fontanez scored on runs of 28 and 9 yards as the Mustangs (2-0, 3-2) built a 35-0 lead in the third quarter. Mifflin ran for 309 yards.

Mifflin quarterback Jan Johnson threw a 41-yard TD pass to Reid Hoff and scored on a 1-yard run.

Mifflin picked off Eagles quarterback Chase Yocum three times, two by Bret Chambers.

The Eagles fell to 1-1 in the league and 4-1 overall.

Mifflin faces unbeaten Muhlenberg next week in a battle of Berks 1 unbeatens.
