Highlights: Blue Mountain stopped Schuylkill Valley running back Nick Scheidt inches from the goal line as time expired to beat the Panthers 31-28 in a wild Homecoming game Saturday night.



Schuylkill Valley trailed by 17 points midway through the third quarter but mounted a comeback. Scheidt gave the Panthers their first lead when he scored from seven yards out to make it it 28-24 with 3:54 left in the game.



Nevertheless, the Eagles capitalized on great field position on their next possession, converting a 4th-and-9 from the SV 24-yard line. Eagles quarterback Shane Grapsy completed a 24-yard touchdown pass to Shawn Greenawalt with 58.3 seconds on the clock to take the lead.
