Highlights: At Wyomissing, Tom Paolini ran for a pair of first-half touchdowns and caught a pass for another as the Spartans (2-0, 3-3) built a 42-point halftime in lead in beating the Cougars (0-3, 0-6) in a Berks Football League Section 2 game Saturday.

Paolini, playing only the first half, ran for 103 yards on five carries. He scored on a pair of 34-yard runs and a 17-yard pass from Scott Kuczala.

Kuczala also threw a 48-yard TD pass to Finnegan Daly.

The win sends Wyomissing into a key Section 2 game next week at Fleetwood, which is also unbeaten in league play.
