Highlights:
At West Lawn, quarterback Matt Timochenko sliced up the Penn Manor secondary as Wilson overcame its largest deficit of the year to beat the Comets 21-14 and claim their sixth straight Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 title.
Wilson's Section 1 record 41-game winning streak was in jeopary when the Comets took a 14-0 lead late in the first half.
The Bulldogs responded with precision in their passing game and renewed vigor on defense, scoring a TD in the final minute of the first half, then two more times in the fourth quarter, getting the game-winner with 6:22 remaining on John Raifsnider's 1-yard run.
Timochenko finished 14-for-20 for 182 yards; he was 9-for-9 for 138 yards on the three scoring drives.
The Bulldogs limited the Comets to just 163 total yards, and to just 40 yards and two first downs in the second half.
The Bulldogs close out their regular season next week against Warwick, looking for their 43 straight league victory.
