Highlights: At York Springs, Hamburg fell behind by three touchdowns in the first half en route to a 35-12, District 3 Class AA quarterfinal loss to Bermudian Springs Friday.

The Hawks (5-6) ended a scoreless drought of more than 37 minutes when quarterback Joseph Cominsky ran for a 57-yard TD midway through the third quarter, and got within nine points on Cody Miller’s 6-yard TD run at the end of the quarter.

But the Eagles (10-1) responded with a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to slam the door shut and lock up the 23-point win.

Joseph Raffensperger led Hamburg with 111 yards rushing on just 12 carries while Cominsky finished with six carries for 69 yards and 50 yards through the air on 3-of-10 passing.

Colton Dull led the charge for Bermudian Springs with 24 carries for 116 yards and three TDs.
