Highlights: At Leesport, fourth-seeded Wyomissing (6-5) recovered an onside kick with 2:23 remaining to set up the winning score in a District 3-AA victory over fifth-seeded Schuylkill Valley (7-4).

The Spartans trailed by eight before getting a 3-yard TD run from Tom Paolini, his third of the night.

When the tying two-point conversion bid was stopped the Spartans were forced to try an on-side kick, and recovered it.

A 44-yard catch-and-run by tight end Finnegan Daly set up the go-ahead score, Scott McAvoy's third TD run of the night, with 1:23 remaining.

The defending state champs advance to a semifinal meeting next week against unbeaten and top-seeded Littlestown.

Paolini finished with 139 yards rushing.

Schuylkill Valley's Nick Scheidt ran for 167 yards and two TDs.
