Highlights:
HERSHEY -- Unbeaten Berks Catholic made quick work of top-seeded and unbeaten Littlestown, scoring four first-half touchdowns to pave the way for a 42-0 romp in the District 3-AA championship game at Hersheypark Stadium.
Chris Warren ran for 139 yards and two TDs and Pop Lacey for 112 yards and a pair of TDs as the second-seeded Saints advanced to the PIAA quarterfinals against District 4-AA champ Troy next Saturday at 1 at Towanda.
The Saints (13-0) were terrific on both sides of the ball but especially on defense, where they recorded six first-half sacks, forced four turnovers and recorded their first shutout of the season.
The Saints essentially put the game away late in the first half, when linebacker Eric Fellin forced a fumble inside the Berks Catholic 10 and Warren broke away for an 89-yard TD two plays later.
The Saints put the mercy rule into effect midway through the third quarter on Warren's 24-yard TD run.
