Highlights: Nate Weber’s blocked PAT with 2:37 remaining preserved Exeter’s pulsating 24-23 victory over Conrad Weiser in a Berks Football League Section 1 game at Don Thomas Stadium.

The Eagles (2-0, 5-1) took their first lead on Chase Yocum’s 17-yard TD pass to LeRoy Longenecker and Nate Bentz’s PAT with 7:49 remaining.

The Scouts (1-2, 4-2) came right back with an 80-yard drive, with quarterback Tyler Hoss scoring from the 1 to pull within one point.

Yocum finished with a game-high 147 yards rushing and two TDs; he competed 10-of-13 passes for 175 yards and a TD.

Hoss passed for 109 yards and a TD and ran for 78 yards.

Weiser led 17-10 after Josh Joseph pulled in a 22-yard pass from Hoss early in the third quarter.

Exeter tied it 17-17 when Yocum finished off an 80-yard drive with an 8-yard TD run with 6:13 left in the third quarter.
