Highlights: Reading High dominated defensively in the first half and spread the wealth on offense on the way to defeating McCaskey 47-20 in a non-league football game in Lancaster Friday night.

Sterling Young-Trapp scored two touchdowns as the Red Knights built a 20-0 lead at halftime.

Elijah Bayne delivered 91 passing yards and two touchdowns and Khary Mauras returned a kickoff 88 yards for a score for Reading, which produced five turnovers on defense.

The Red Knights are 2-1 heading into their Berks I opener against Gov. Mifflin next week.
