Highlights: Dontae Owens caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Elisiah Bayne with 46 seconds to go and Reading High pulled out a thrilling 27-20 non-league victory over Dover Friday night at Shirk Stadium.

The Red Knights (4-3) appeared to be beaten when they faced a fourth-and-22 situation at their own 8 with 2:40 to go. However, Khary Mauras make a leaping catch and got the ball past the marker for the first down. Reading then went to work as Bayne, Sterling Young-Trapp and Jai Whitlock took turns running the ball against the Eagles. A 10-yard scamper by Whitlock gave the Red Knights a first down at the Dover 23 and set up the winning play.

On the ensuing drive, Mauras ended it with an interception.

Tyrel Jones had 133 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns to lead Dover (4-3).
