Highlights: Pottsgrove had the ball deep in Springfield (Delco) territory twice in the final three minutes of Friday night's District 1-AAA semifinal. But interceptions stopped both threats and the Falcons' season ended with a 10-6 loss to the top-seeded Cougars.



Garrett Bleakley booted field goals of 31 and 24 yards to give fourth-seeded Pottsgrove (8-4) a 6-3 lead heading into the final quarter. But Springfield (12-0) drove 71 yards, the last 11 on a sprint up the middle by quarterback Brian Allen, to take the lead. Then the host Cougars, who had allowed only nine points per game coming in, got interceptions by Pat Smyth and Adam Krauter to wrap up the win and a spot in next week's final.
