Highlights: Daniel Boone tried to gum up the works against Cocalico’s offense early, but the Eagles eventually figured things out and beat the Blazers 24-6 Friday night in the District 3-AAA semifinals at Denver.

Eagles running back Hunter High led the team with 189 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns. Cocalico (10-3), which will face winner of today’s game between Bishop McDevitt and Red Land.

The game was tied at 0-0 at the end of the first quarter, but the Eagles scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to take control.

Boone finishes the season 8-5.
