Highlights:
Garrett Polityka and Daniel Austill each ran for over 100 yards and Schuylkill Valley controlled the ball by running 68 times in a 27-21 victory over Fleetwood in a Berks Football League Section 2 game at Tigers Stadium.
The Panthers (2-0, 2-3) rallied from a 14-0 first-quarter deficit by taking control at the line of scrimmage. Polityka ran 25 times for 160 yards and Austill 28 times for 112 yards and a TD, his 2-yard plunge with 7:56 remaining giving Schuylkill Valley a 27-14 lead.
The Tigers (0-2, 2-3) came back, getting an 18-yard TD run from Luke Emge with 1:45 left and then recovering an on-sides kick.
The Tigers took four cracks at the end zone from the Panthers' 40 in the final minute but Schuylkill Valley saw Cameron Scarpaci and Brett Sigoda break up passes on the final two plays to end the threat.
Fleetwood Emge threw for 214 yards but he was contained on the ground other than his TD run.
