Highlights:
Chris Martir scored a pair of first-half touchdowns and led a swift defense as Wyomissing beat Hamburg 35-0 in a Berks Football League Section 2 game at the A-Field.
The Spartans (4-0, 8-0) remained unbeaten and on a collision path with unbeaten Berks Catholic, who they meet in Week 10.
Martir ran for 90 yards and scored on a 9-yard touchdown pass from Charlie Tonneslan and a 60-yard run.
Brandon Westwood ran for a game-high 98 yards and scored three TDs for the Spartans, on runs of 62 and 5 yards and on a 39-yard pass. The last score put Wyomissing ahead 35-0 and started the running clock.
The Hawks (3-2, 4-4) moved the ball well in the first half but were stopped twice after getting the ball inside the 1.
The first scoring bid, on the game's opening drive, ended with a missed field goal. The second ended when Colin Smith stopped Iggy Reynoso on a short fourth-down pass.
Reynoso, the Berks scoring leader, was limited to 39 rushing yards on 13 carries. He also had five receptions for 46 yards.
