Highlights: Christian Martir scored four touchdowns Friday night to help visiting Wyomissing open the 2015 scholastic football season with a 35-7 non-league win over Pottsville.

Martir rushed for two TDs and caught a pair of TD passes from Charlie Tonneslan to help the Spartans down the Tide. Martir, who had only 13 touches, scored on runs of 27 and 66 yards and hauled in TD passes of 14 and 30 yards.

Martir rushed for 134 yards on nine carries and caught four passes for 76 yards.

Brandon Westwood also scored on a 35-yard run for Wyomissing, which led 35-0 until Pottsville scored with just 4:15 left.
