Highlights:
Chris Martir scored a pair of first-quarter touchdowns and top-seeded Wyomissing reached the end zone on its first four possessions in topping eighth-seeded Hamburg 42-6 in a District 3-AA quarterfinal at the A-Field.
The Spartans (11-0), who led 28-0 at the half, advance to play No. 5 Biglerville next Saturday at Wyomissing in the semifinals.
The Hawks (5-6) moved the ball consistently but again couldn't finish drives, just as had happened in a 35-0 loss at Wyomissing three weeks ago.
The Hawks had 194 first-half yards and 293 overall but didn't score untiil the final minutes of the game, after Wyomissing's first-team defense had been removed.
Martir scored on runs of 34 and 8 yards to cap Wyomissing's first two possessions.
Brandon Workman broke off a 52-yard scoring run early in the second quarter for a 20-0 lead.
Brandon Westwood, who rushed for a game-high 112 yards on 12 carries, gave the Spartans a 28-0 lead four minutes before halftime with a 6-yard scoring run.
