Highlights: No. 6 Cumberland Valley took advantage of four first-half turnovers by No. 3 Exeter to take command on the way to a victory in a District 3-AAAA quarterfinal at Don Thomas Stadium.

Cumberland Valley (10-2) advances to meet No. 10 C.D. East (8-4) in the semifinals next Friday.

Exeter quarterback Gabe Schappell, who had been picked off just once in his first six starts, was intercepted three times in the first half.

The second of those was returned 48 yards for a touchdown by Nick Rhodes, giving Cumberland Valley a 21-3 lead with 36 seconds left in the first half.

Exeter moved the ball quickly down the field on its first possession, gaining four first downs before Schappell was intercepted at the CV 23.
