Highlights: Brandon Westwood ran for a season-high 189 yards and three touchdowns and led a Wyomissing defense that came up with key stops in a 28-13 Berks Football League victory over visiting Twin Valley.

Westwood clinched it for the Spartans (1-0, 4-2) with a 75-yard scoring run for a 28-7 lead with 3:10 remaining.

He had first-half TD runs of 1 and 24 yards.

The Raiders (1-1, 3-3) produced 16 first downs and 295 total yards but battled against poor field position throughout.

The first of Zach Gardner's two TD passes, a 10-yarder to Jesse Funk, pulled the Raiders within 14-7 three minutes before halftime.

Gardner completed 15-of-28 passes for 199 yards, 136 of it in the final quarter.

Payton Gonzalez's 32-yard TD run put the Spartans up 21-7 with 7:52 remaining.
