Highlights: At Royersford, Pottsgrove's football season came to an end with a PIAA Class 4A opening round loss at Spring-Ford's Coach McNelly Stadium. The District 1 champion Falcons (11-2) fell behind the District 11 champ Golden Hawks (11-2) 21-0 by late in the first quarter and trailed 42-14 at the half in head coach Rick Pennypacker's final game. Jay Sisko ran 65 yards and Rahsul Faison 79 yards for Pottsgrove's two touchdowns.
