Highlights: Freshman Nick Singleton ran for three first-half touchdowns and Gov. Mifflin's defense stonewalled Twin Valley in a 42-7 Berks Football League Section 1 victory at Mifflin Stadium.

Singleton finished with four touchdowns and 226 yards on 26 carries; he scored on runs of 1, 1, 43 and 28 yards.

Bryce Stubler pulled in a 39-yard touchdown pass from Kolbie Reeser for the Mustangs (3-0, 3-3).

The Raiders (1-2, 3-3) entered with one of the league's top passers in Zach Gardner but saw him limited to 51 yards through three quarters against Mifflin's first-team defense.

Gardner threw a late TD pass to Nick Kurtz and finished with 122 passing yards.

Mifflin remains in a first-place tie in Section 1 with Conrad Weiser.
