Highlights: A healthy Abdul MacFoy has arrived just in time for the Berks Section 2 title chase and playoffs. He carried Berks Catholic to a 49-20 win over Fleetwood at Forino Sports Complex.



MacFoy finished with 234 yards rushing and five total touchdowns. he went 64 yards on his first touchdown run and then 19 yards on his next touch also for a touchdown. That put the Saints ahead 14-0 in the first quarter.



The Tigers had life when Charlie Maddocks threw a perfect ball to his brother, Tanner Maddocks, who made a great catch in the end zone. But, MacFoy quickly snuffed out Fleetwood momentum with a 73-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It was his third straight touch for a touchdown and the Saints led 21-7. He added another 73-yard dash to the end zone at the start of the second quarter and that was the 28-7 halftime margin.



The Tigers were able to move the ball throughout the night, but could not finish off drives deep in Saints’ territory.



Maddocks finished with 292 yards passing, but was intercepted twice. Christian Moreno had 206 rushing and receiving yards combined.



Berks Catholic will meet Wyomissing next week in the Backyard Brawl for the Berks Section 2 championship.
