Highlights:
From Hamburg, the 39th Frost Bowl was dominated by Hamburg, who piled up 415 yards rushing on their way to a 42-7 win over Schuylkill Valley.
The Hawks (2-3, 5-5) used a two-headed rushing attack, with senior Shaheed Warren leading the way. Warren ran for 169 yards and three touchdowns to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for the second consecutive season.
Sophomore tailback Dihonny Ruiz added 155 yards and three touchdowns of his own. His elusive running served as a perfect complement to Warren’s power game.
Hamburg outgained the Panthers (1-4, 3-7) 185-0 on their way to a 21-0 first quarter lead. Their physical defensive line dominated Schuylkill Valley throughout the game, holding them to 26 rushing yards while also pressuring Panther quarterback Nico Iaccarino into three interceptions.
The Hawks have likely clinched a spot in the 4A Eastern Conference Playoffs.
