Highlights: Diohnny Ruiz rushed for 148 yards and scored three touchdowns and Shaheed Warren scored three times as Hamburg defeated Kutztown 56-20 Friday night in a Berks Football League Section 2 game at Kutztown.

Ruiz scored on runs of 5 and 8 yards and caught an 8-yard pass from P.J. Hanlon.

Warren scored on runs of 1, 6, and 8 yards; he has a team-leading 13 touchdowns and 876 rushing yards.

The Hawks (1-3, 4-5) led 35-7 at the half.

Hamburg maintains its hopes for an Eastern Conference playoff berth. It can clinch that with a win over Schuylkill Valley in the "Frost Bowl" next week.

Hamburg rushed for 399 yards.

Hanlon completed 8-of-11 passes for 84 yards.

Lucas Floyd threw a pair of TD passes to Ryan Brauer for the Cougars (0-4, 0-9), who close out the regular season Friday at home against Fleetwood.

Brauer had TD catches of 77 and 41 yards.
