Highlights: Shrugging off last week's blowout loss to Mifflin, Reading High dominated the second half Friday night in a 40-17 Section 1 homecoming blowout of Daniel Boone at Shirk Stadium.

Down 17-7 with four minutes to go in the second quarter, the Red Knights (2-1, 5-1) exploded for 33 unanswered points. They limited the Blazers (0-2, 1-5) to just 41 yards and two first downs in the second half.

Sophomore playmaker Deshawn Wilson led Reading with three catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Elijah Williams also had 12 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Red Knights.
