Highlights:
Alex Javier became Exeter's all-time receiving leader and sparked the Eagles to a playoff-clinching victory over Daniel Boone in the Iron Pig Bowl at Don Thomas Stadium.
The Eagles (5-1, 7-3) nailed down a spot in the District 3 Class 5 Tournament; if Conrad Weiser beats Gov. Mifflin Friday, Exeter will earn a share of the Berks Football League Section 1 title with the Scouts and Mustangs.
Javier had three receptions for 78 yards and pair of touchdowns in the first half to top Gabe Schappell's career records for both receiving yards and scoring receptions. He and the other Exeter starters did not play in the second half.
It was the eighth straight win over the Blazers (1-5, 2-8) and gives Exeter a 36-18-1 lead in the trophy series.
Exeter quarterback Gavin McCusker threw four first-half touchdown passes, including 37- and 20-yarders to Javier, the second with two seconds left in the first half.
Devon Scott opened the scoring with a 45-yard catch-and-run and J.R. Strauss had a 55-yard yard catch.
McCusker completed 8-of-12 passes for 153 yards in the first half
