Highlights: Logan Klitsch threw touchdown passes on each of his three passing attempts and seven different players scored touchdowns as visiting Conrad Weiser beat Kutztown 53-20 Friday in a Berks Football League Section 2 game.

The win pushes the Scouts (5-0, 6-0) into contention for a District 3 Class 4A playoff spot; the district will announce official pairings on Tuesday but Weiser currently is No. 4 in the power ratings. The top four teams qualify.

Klitsch threw scoring passes of 38 yards to Aanjay Feliciano, 16 yards to Fizz and 23 yards to Kisslingi as the Scouts took a 34-0 lead in the first quarter.

Cole Rothermel rushed for 111 yards and a TD for Weiser.

Cameron Jones returned a kickoff 55 yards for a score; he also scored on a 10-yard run.

Lennon Neiman rushed for 142 yards and a pair of TDs for the Cougars (0-4, 0-5), who trailed 47-7 at the half.
