Highlights: Diohnny Ruiz ran for a touchdown and caught a scoring pass and seven other players reached the end zone as Hamburg topped visiting Kutztown 61-13 in a Berks Football League Section 2 game Friday.

The Hawks (1-1, 1-1) set a program record for points in a game, topping the previous mark of 58 set in a shutout over Fleetwood in 2006.

The Hawks led 49-0 at halftime.

Lennon Neiman caught a pair of late TD passes from Jake Lafferty for the Cougars (0-2, 0-2).

Ruiz scored on a 33-yard pass from Xander Menapace and on a 50-yard run.

Menapace also threw a 30-yard TD pass to Cameron Harris.
