Lafferty scored on a 1-yard run and connected with Isaac Schneider for a 71-yard pass as the Cougars (1-5) took a 14-0 first-quarter lead.
Carson Sheetz scored on runs of 49 and 13 yards, and Lennon Neiman rushed for a game-high 97 yards and one TD.
Sheetz had one of three interceptions for the Cougars; Matt Buck had two.
