Highlights: Ethan Kohler passed for a touchdown and ran for another as the Vikings (2-1, 2-1) overcame a halftime deficit to beat the Bears (0-4, 0-4) in PAC-10 play at Grateford.

Boyertown led 6-0 after quarterback Noah Segal scored on a 3-yard run to cap a 17-play, eight-minute drive with seven seconds remaining in the first half.

“That’s what we had to do,” said Boyertown coach. T.J. Miller. “No. 11 (Kohler) is one of the best quarterbacks in the state. Our offensive line came off. They fired. Three yards, three yards, three yards.”

The Bears held the Vikings to 15 first-half yards and out-gained them 184-174 but couldn't recover any of the Vikings' three fumbles.

“Our whole defense had a new motor tonight,” said Miller, whose team recorded four sacks, two by Joe Slowik. “We just need to put more points up.”
