Highlights: Powerhouse Pittsburgh Central Catholic used a string of big plays to overwhelm Wilson 63-21 in the PIAA Class 6A semifinals at Mansion Park.

The Vikings (14-1) used four scoring plays of 50 yards or longer to take a 28-0 lead less than two minutes into the second quarter.

The Bulldogs (12-2) moved the ball consistently, and got a pair of first-half TD throws from Connor Uhrig, but had no solution in slowing down the Vikes' offense.

Wilson pulled within 42-21 in the third quarter before the Vikings reeled off three TDs in a 3 1/2-minute span to set off the running clock.

Sprinter J.J. Younger had a 63-yard touchdown catch and 62-yard TD run in the first quarter.

Rodney Thomas picked off a pass and returned it 52 yards for a TD and 14-0 lead seven minutes into the game.

Justin Weller had a 14-yard TD catch and Mason McElroy a 30-yard TD grab.
