Highlights: At Birdsboro, Rodney Gillin ran for 91 yards and scored a pair of TDs and the Bulldogs defense smothered the Blazers in a District 3-AAAA quarterfinal.

The Bulldogs (11-1) held Boone quarterback Tommy Bodolus to a season-low 2 rushing yards, and the Blazers (10-2) to a season-low 49 rushing yards.

Gillin gave the Bulldogs the lead for good, scoring on a 53-yard pass from Seth Klein 4 1/2 minutes into the second half.

Wilson advances to meet top-seeded Cumberland Valley in the semifinals next Friday, at Cumberland Valley.
