Highlights: Freshman Colin Payne bailed out Exeter with a big-time performance, throwing for 185 yards and two TDs in a 42-6 Berks Football League Section 1 victory tonight in the "Gridiron Classic" at FirstEnergy Stadium.

With the two quarterbacks ahead of him on the depth chart both injured, Payne connected on his first six passes and 14-of-18 overall in the first half to lead the Eagles (1-0, 3-2) to an easy win over the Muhls (0-2, 0-5).

Steven Rose ran for 101 yards and a pair of TDs and Jeremiah Nixon also ran for a pair of scores.

Exeter's first-team defense limited Muhlenberg to negative rushing yards and just 62 total yards through three quarters.
